AccommodationOn-campus Housing

The International House (I-House) and Graduate Student Dormitory (GSD) are on-campus housing facilities located very close to the Ewha ISC office in the Ewha Campus Complex (ECC). These state-of-the-art housing facilities for foreign students offer double and single rooms on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis. The dormitories are co-ed, with each floor assigned to a single sex.

Due to high demand, students are recommended to apply for housing at the same time they apply for admission to the 2015 Ewha International Co-ed Summer College.

PEACE BuddiesProfessional Ewhaians At Cultural Exchange

Ewha ISC students will be in contact with Ewha PEACE buddies, a volunteer group of Ewha undergraduate students, from their arrival at Incheon airport until the ‘Farewell Ceremony’ at the end of the program. As students of Ewha, PEACE buddies introduce international students to the campus and community, arrange special events, and help program participants take full advantage of life at Ewha and in Korea.

Questions concerning everyday life at Ewha and extra curricular activities organized by PEACE buddies should be reached at: [email protected]. Each Ewha ISC student will receive an email from his or her designated PEACE buddy prior to the starting of a program.

Special Cultural Excursion Trip An overnight trip to Hahoe Folk Village in Andong City takes

place on the first weekend of the program, enabling students to experience authentic Korean traditional culture and life through the following activities:

Water rafting / Staying in a traditional Korean-style home / Watching a traditional mask dance / Attending a traditional music performance / Tasting traditional Andong cuisine
