Logistics and legal aspect

Moroccan state = really involved in the development of the solar energy in the country.

a partnership has resulted in the creation of a program to pump solar energy: - 400 million dirham budget

- Goal : set up 3.000 photovoltaic systems of pumping

- Objective: help small and medium-sized farmers to equip themselves with water pumps that use the energy generated by solar panels in order to improve the agricultural production and productivity while saving water and energy.

- Energy savings realized thanks to this program will cover the amount of the help given by

the Moroccan state.

- Help given by Morocco: not more than 50% of the cost of the setting up within a limit of 75.000 dirham i.e. 5 hectares

- Help from the state: gives farmers access to clear water to drink, to cook and to irrigate their crops
