made of 304 Stainless steel which

makes it suitable for operation in harsh

environment.

TR model transmitters take Alkaline

batteries. Lithium Battery operated TR

WT-RC-Ex Receiver

Wavetrak’s WT-RC-Ex Receivers are very

sensitive to even weak signals. The display

includes both an analog meter and a digital LED

light bar to provide an easy way to view signal

strength. They feature a backlit panel which

lights up when ambient light levels are low

making it easy to see in any lighting conditions.

Digital detection and AC interference reduction

circuitry provide good filtering even in noisy

electrical environments.

Our Receivers are made out of a light, durable

aluminum frame with a high impact urethane

handle, which is UV protected, anti-static, and

chemical resistant.

Designed to overcome issues commonly faced

by field technicians while tracking the pig, the

S.T.A.R – Above Ground Marker

Introducing Wavetrak’s S.T.A.R (STand Alone Recorder) Above Ground Markers. As the name

suggests, these markers record the GPS information and time of the passing inspection tool.

This unit helps the tracker obtain precise location of pipeline and time of the inspection gauge’s

footprint at location. S.T.A.R’s long detection range for ELF signals, compact design and user

friendly interface makes it an industry leader.

Summary:

• S.T.A.R can detect any PIGs equipped with ELF transmitters and/or magnets .

• The compact hand held unit uses an OLED display screen which is weather resistant. It’s

anti-glare feature enables user to view it regardless of any weather conditions.

• AGM connects to Windows User Interface via Bluetooth dongle which has exceptional

connectivity range.

• No supervision necessary once deployed in the field, it records automatically and stores data

for future retrieval.

• The data can be transferred to the computer anytime after the passage has occurred. The

FLARE – PIG DetectorsWavetrak’s FLARE series Non-Intrusive PIG detector (N.I.P.D) incorporates a flameproof

enclosure to be used in Hazardous environments (Zone 1). These Non-Intrusive detectors are

designed to be mounted at the pipeline trap and launch stations and are capable of detecting both

ELF signal (transmitters) and MFL tool passages. The dual housing allows easy access to a

terminal strip for connecting wired +24VDC power or SCADA interfaces.

Summary:

• The Flare series can detect PIGs equipped with both ELF transmitters and magnets.

• Two power modes on all models as standard: +24VDC wired supply and battery operated.

• 4-20mA and relay connections for integration into your existing SCADA system.
