EPSRC electronics funded network, established in 2010 with a 3 year grant. Purpose of being collective voice for academics in the electronics sector & link to industry partners

eFutures Steering Group – members from ARM, NMI, Innovate UK, EPSRC
Successfully achieved funding for grant extension for 4 years until 2018
Approx 400 members across 55 institutions

eFutures has stated 5 key objectives (2014-18) :
Supporting Early Careers – events for ECR’s & post doc’s
Building Bridges – introduce sets of people who would not otherwise interact ‘Building Bridges to Building Brains’
Working with Industry – industry networking, NMI, KTN’s
Working with new academic communities – Energy Harvesting, Power Electronics
Consolidating eFutures – grow the network, develop and enhance the website
Establish ECR Steering Group
