In spite of adjusting to changes mid-year, the school is finishing the year strong. The McNabb 8 th grade baseball team just won the Bluegrass Conference Championship for the first time ever, and the soccer team was runner- up after competing in the championship game of the Bluegrass Conference. Again this week McNabb students had the highest attendance of any school in the district. This is a feat that had not been accomplished previously, but has occurred several times this year. This year’s musical production, Mulan, Jr., was impressive. The McNabb Academic Team advanced further in state competition this year than ever before. The success has been replicated by clubs, programs, and classrooms throughout the school. I applaud the students and staff at McNabb Middle School, and want to offer a special thanks to Mr. Shannon White. Thanks to Mr. White’s experience and leadership, McNabb teachers were able to proceed with the business of educating children, and flourish in the face of adversity. MONTGOMERY COUNTY SCHOOLS

SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE

I have been pleased with the growth and progress I have seen taking place in our schools this year, but I would like to take a moment to specifically brag on McNabb Middle School. In spite of adjusting to changes mid-year, the school is finishing the year strong. The McNabb 8th grade baseball team just won the Bluegrass Conference Championship for the first time ever, and the soccer team was runner-up after competing in the championship game of the Bluegrass Conference.
