¡ It is estimated that Tesla sales have now surpassed the 200,000 cap for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit.

¡ BMW and Volvo stand out with a much higher share of EV sales than other auto- makers (excluding Tesla).
¡ BMW, Daimler, and Volk- swagen have announced EV sales targets in the range of 15-25% by 2025.
¡ Volvo has announced that it will only sell hybrids or EVs by 2019.

¡ Global EV sales totalled about 312,000 in Q1 2018, an increase of 58% compared to Q1 2017.
¡ U.S. EV sales made up about 18% of global EV sales in Q1 2018.
¡ U.S. EV sales in Q1 2018 grew by about 32% over Q1 2017, lagging behind growth in Europe of 39% and growth in China of 113%.
