member to educational institutions and foundations across the country, internist Dr. William N. Kelley also maintains active membership in more than 30 professional and academic associations. In 1998, Dr. William N. Kelley became a member of the American Philosophical Society.

About the American Philosophical Society Founded by Benjamin Franklin as the first

academic honor society in the United States, the American Philosophical Society continues to carry greater prestige than any other organization of its kind. It offers membership by invitation only and accepts nominations from currently active members residing in the United States. These members may present nominations at any time for election in April.

ConclusionThe Association grants membership to
