Stage.1
create pressure on political parties to give tickets to only those candidates who have no criminal records.
Active dissemination of profiles through detaild brouchers, bill boards at polling stations with complete disclosure of their essets, qualifications and criminal records(if any).
Stage:-1
Provide logistics support to independent candidates.
Aggregate results from multiple polling booths at once before declaring voting trends.
Stage:- 2
Enforce model code of conduct through crowd sourcing.
use ushahidi platform to encourage crowd sourcing.
User can report incidents of violation of code of conduct to the ECI website through the ushahidi plug or mobile app.
Recommendations for smooth election process
Stage:-1
Simplify voter registration through internet or call centre facilities.
This will be followed by door to door verification.
Stage:-2
Ensure participative elections
create campus ambassadors and teams to promote elections.
create a vote for india brand on the lines of teach for india brand .
Stage :- 2
Encourage public private partnership by ensuring efforts by private companies in this direction to be counted as CSR activities.
Incentivise the educated class for voting.
