Purpose #1: Provide student recruitment for member institutions
Goal #1: Engage prospective students to consider HBCUs.
Objectives: Participate in a variety of College Fairs (area schools,
churches, libraries, etc.) and assist students with the admissions process.
Host at least one major HBCU Fair per calendar year.

Council to promote the progress of the respective HBCUs and the Council.
Actively recruit/retain alumni and supporters to become active members of the Council.

Support the fundraising efforts of the Council, and to the extent of the Council, financially assist the local HBCU alumni chapter, and other meaningful organizations that support the advancement of minority higher education.
Goal #4: Support alumni and institutional fundraising
Objectives: To support the HBCU local alumni chapter fundraising endeavors. Develop programs to establish and maintain the Council’s
scholarship and educational endeavors. To make contributions to UNCF, Thurgood Marshall College Fund,
and other similar organizations that support the advancement of minority higher education.
