ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR The EDC is seeking an Assistant Administrator to help the church operations in various administrative projects (including relocation matters) as well as to understudy the functions of the Administrator. The individual should have administrative experience, IT programming skills (especially WordPress and Access database) and customisation of applications software. UPDATE: PAUL AND MICHELLE TEOH On 28 February 2017, Paul and Michelle completed their 4-year term as HPC-supported missionaries with OC Singapore and will make the transition to become full-time tent-makers with the Blue Mountain Kelong in Batam, Indonesia. We thank them for their dedicated service to the Lord over the years, and let us continue to uphold them in prayer and fellowship as they prepare for their new ministry. JASON TOH HAB SEAH went home to the Lord on 8 Mar 2017. The cremation service will be held today at Mandai Crematorium Hall 4 at 2:45pm. Prior to that, a funeral service will be held at Block 33 Chai Chee Ave at 1:45pm. CHURCH ACCESS Samsung Contractors are realigning Upper Changi Road East. Last Friday, CBC’s main gate was reopened. Next Friday (17 Mar), the slip road will not function as Upper Changi Road East will have two straightened full lanes on both sides. Watch out for new signs and drive carefully as you access and exit the church.

Thank God for His provision for a senior pastor to shepherd HPC.

Pray for the ongoing search/discussion w ith the EDC of the other Presbyterian churches for the usage of their church for HPC's place of worship.

Pray for the congregation to grow in faith, unity, service and waiting upon the Lord.

Please pray for Christina and family that they w il l find comfort and peace during this time of bereavement.

APPOINTMENT OF SENIOR PASTOR The Senior Pastor Search Committee, comprising the Elders, Ps William Wan and Tony Lee, is very pleased to announce that after many months of prayer, searching and interacting with potential candidates, God has led and provided Ps Eddy Lim Choon Jin to be the Senior Pastor of HPC. Ps Eddy is completing his term of service as a pastor at Zion Serangoon Bible-Presbyterian (B-P) Church, and will become our Senior Pastor from 1 May 2017, for an initial commitment of four years.

Ps Eddy is an ordained B-P minister and has been in Christian ministry for more than 30 years, in Singapore and overseas – at Mt Carmel B-P Church, Hebron B-P Church, Zion Bishan B-P Church, Westside Calgary Chinese Alliance Church (Canada) and Zion Serangoon B-P Church. He and his wife, Jessie, have three grown-up children – a son and two daughters – two of whom are still in Canada. Ps Eddy loves music, is musically talented, and blessed with a jovial disposition and a hearty laugh. He enjoys interacting with people, and is excited about serving God at HPC.

The EDC is grateful to God for His provision of Ps Eddy, and looks forward to working with him. As we warmly welcome him and his family to HPC, please take the initiative to extend to them your friendship and fellowship! Lim Kim Lark will share information like: How can you minimise your losses? How will it affect the owner, the driver and the passengers? What about injuries? When do you need to call an ambulance? What pictures should you record? Is there a difference if the other vehicle is a foreign or government vehicle? Claiming against your own insurance versus claiming against a third party. Can you make a claim without a lawyer? If you are interested, please sign up at the WIC to facilitate lunch arrangements.
