A LITTLE ABOUT US

First, SBR would like to extend a warm welcome to our restaurant. With just over a year in existence, El Zafiro has transitioned from just a resort servicing restaurant, to a more sophisticated culinary experience. Our menus offer Mexican, Caribbean & European fusion. We are proud to have two of the best Chefs in San Pedro if not Belize. Chef Victor leads the charge and has over 20 years experience and several awards under his belt. Chef Marlon has been in the business for more than 10 years and has proven to be a great culinary pair to Vic. Our menus are carefully selected utilizing all our chefs’ strong points. We use nothing but the freshest products to ensure our guests’ utmost satisfaction. This is then paired with a great wine list that offers products mainly from South America. On the front, we have the main bar as well as a tiki bar situated in front of one of three pools. All Zafiro’s servers and bartenders are vigorously trained using all fresh ingredients from scratch. We utilize a local liqueur company as the base for much of our exotic creations. Our fruits are juiced and reduced with secret ingredients to create unique cocktails that can only be found at Zafiro. So be prepared to take your taste buds on a journey not easily forgotten! We also cater to any dietary requirements.
