We are going to talk about
“El canto del loco”
BIOGRAPHY
“El Canto del Loco” was a Spanish
pop-rock band. The group was
created in 1994 by Dani Martín,
although the final group wouldn't
come together until years later.
ORIGINS
Dani Martin and Iván Ganchegui
both members of the band were
fans of Radio Futura and their
song ''El canto del gallo''.
This song let them the group's
name.
El Canto del Loco has sold
more than a million
albums.
PREFERENCES OF
DANI MARTIN
If he hadn't been a singer, he would
have been a football player. His friends
always called him “Little Dani”.
Therefore his first solo CD has been
named “Little boy”.
HOBBIES OF DANI
MARTIN
He loves playing football and his
favourite team is “Atlético de Madrid”.
He also likes cars and having fun with
his friends. He hates thinking so
much about things.

Their first album came out in 2000. After
hundreds of concert tours in Spain and
Latin America, El Canto del Loco published
their fourth label proposal, “shoes”, so far
the most successful in sales.
We have chosen this song becauseit remembers us when we were in our childhood. We listened to it in
the radio while we went in ourparents' car. When it came out, itwas very popular and everyone
sang it.

The song talks about the change of
the adolescence to adult stage as in
everyone.

In 2010, the group “El Canto del Loco'' broke up , Dani Martín and David Otero began his solo career. Instead Chema
Ruiz, bass guitar, was introduced in other group called Belgrade.
