EJOT® Solar Fastenings -for fastening of uprights for solar and photovoltaic installations

With the latest EJOT® Solar Fastenings made from grade 304 stainless steel (1.4301), you have the possibility of fixing your new solar and photovoltaic installations securely and simply. They are suitable for all current substructures both of wood and of steel. This system guarantees watertightness and a high bearing capacity coming along with an easy installation. Moreover, it allows an exact adjustment of the installation.EJOT® Solar Fastenings are a combination of selftapping screws that are approved by the building authorities or a standard wood screw as per DIN 571, which is connected to a setscrew by means of a welded joint. The complete pa-ckage consists of the solar fastening screw with welded-on setscrew, a nut, a lock nut and the required plain washers, sealing washers and EJOT® ORKAN storm washers.The screw is anchored in the substructure and transfers all of the tensile loads and pressure forces onto the substruc-ture, so that, for example, the thin cover shell of sandwich elements does not get damaged. Tensile loads can either be taken from the approval Z-14.4-532. The sealing of the fastening at the top of the corrugation is optimised by using a storm washer in combination with a bonded washer. Roofing screws for trapezoidal profiles, sandwich elements and sinusoidal fibre cement roofing sheets can be replaced.

Characteristic features: If it concerns an already existing roof, which is fixed onto steel substructures with Ø 5.5 or 6.3 mm screws, it is possible to remove the old screws and to replace them with Ø 8.0 mm EJOT® Solar Fastenings. The predrilling diameter is to be observed in all cases.
