Jesus does similar things with the small gifts we present to him. When we share our own gifts of time and talent, Jesus takes them, blesses them and multiplies them for the benefit of all. Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time August 2, 2020

In today’s Gospel, we hear the story of how Jesus fed

the crowds with just five loaves of bread and two fish.

“They all ate and were satisfied,” Matthew writes.

Jesus does similar things with the small gifts we

present to him. When we share our own gifts of time

and talent, Jesus takes them, blesses them and

multiplies them for the benefit of all.

We are excited to be able to invite you to St. Mary’s Adult

Bible Class! In this class, we will be learning

about “Entertaining Angels” from

presenters Mike Aquilina and

Father Mitch Pacwa. This sub-

ject was selected by

majority vote of students

attending the last presentation

series, ‘Romans’.

We will be presenting this class via Zoom, a

computerized meeting room, every Tuesday from 1:30

pm to 3:30 pm beginning on 8/18/2020. Due to the

Covid-19 concerns this presentation will be via

Zoom only. We will supply written instructions on how

to connect via Zoom, helpful hints and “live person”

technical support. There are ten lessons in this program.

Pick up “Entertaining Angels” class book at the parish

office during office hours. Please make out your check

for @25.00. Your facilitator is Loris Edwards. Please register at the

parish office.
