When is it celebrated? Eidul Adha begins on the 10th of Zulhijjah which is

the 12th month of the Islamic year and ends on the 13th of Zulhijjah.

Zulhijjah is the month of the annual pilgrimage.

Eidul Adha is celebrated when the new moon is spotted with the naked eye.
