Visiting Michelin-starred chef John Burton Race,August 15 - 23, 2019John Burton-Race is a chef, television personality and restaurateur. His earliest memories of cooking involved watching and helping the family Chef, which is where he discovered both his innate talent and profound passion for food and cooking. In 1986 he opened his own restaurant, L’Ortolan in Berkshire,where he earned two Michelin stars. He went on to mirror this achievement in 2000 at the JBR Restaurant at the Landmark Hotel.

Middle Eastern VoyageEmbark on a culinary journey through the Middle East with six different foor stalls and stations. Begin the parade of flavours and aromas at Bar(a)bara, with the voyage ending at Mihree Mithaa.

Middle Eastern Chef Battle at Turtle BeachJoin us for this culinary showdown between two chefs known for their Middle Eastern Cuisine. Dine on dishes prepared by both chefs and be the judge of who should win the contest.

Middle Eastern Dessert StreetIndulge your sweet tooth as you try the different treats and desserts that are native to the region. Enjoy the syrupy filo pastry of baklava or try our Egyptian sweet pudding.

Sunrise Breakfast FishingWake up to the first rays of the sun - one of the best times of the day to go fishing. Embark on a sustainable fishing trip where you will use the pole and line technique. Enjoy breakfast on the boat, go fishing and eat breakfast on the boat before heading back to Soneva Fushi. You can choose to have your catch prepared for lunch or dinner.

Island Fusion Yoga at the Turtle Beach ChampaTry Hatha yoga for the first time or deepen your yogic practice. Hatha yoga involves holding each pose for a number of breaths to increase strength and flexibility.

Shisha LoungeSit back amidst the beauty of the Maldives with this quintessentially Middle Eastern pastime. Choose from a variety of flavours including roast palm, apple, and mint.

Robinson Crusoe PicnicLet us whisk you away to one of our lush, uninhabited islands for a true castaway experience. Hop aboard our speedboat and sail to the island with your picnic basket and snorkel gear where you will be left to enjoy your day in the sun, in total privacy.

Water SportsWe offer a range of complimentary non-motorized water sports, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, windsurfing and catamarans. Private tuition is available at an additional charge on an hourly basis. Soneva Fushi also offers guests the chance to explore the underwater world with the ease and skill of a dolphin with our SEABOB. Glide and dive below the surface with this eco-friendly way to move through the water.

Snorkel with Manta RaysSnorkel Hanifaru Bay, home to one of the world’s largest populations of Manta Rays. Conditions and season* permitting, fortunate guests might get to see hundreds of Mantas as they feed on plankton. There are several Manta spotting locations, so the itinerary may vary. If there are no Mantas, our Marine Biologist will take you to another snorkelling spot. *June - November Manta sightings are frequent but not guaranteed.
