Welcome to Edge Hill University and the Business School. Students inthe School study a range of programmes. We offer programmes inAccountancy, Business and Management, Computing, Marketing andWeb Development so there are a wide range of interests in the School.I hope over this first week and the rest of the course that you takeadvantage of the opportunities to meet people on other programmes andfrom other parts of the university.
Many of you will have visited the campus previously but if this is yourfirst time on it we hope that you will be as happy with the campus as weare and use the facilities and space in the building. For business relatedsubjects, many of your classes will be in the Business School building.Computing classes are held in the nearby CMIST Building.
One of the key features of the School is the excellent working relationshipthat exists between staff and students. We will do our part to make surethat your time here is enjoyable and productive. You have to do your partby participating to the full to make the most of the opportunity. In theevent that a problem arises that might affect your work please tell us andwe will try to help or advise where assistance can be found.
