Why Are We Different??
A. Our Integrated Center has almost all the facilities the Diabetic needs, available in one place in EIDC.
B. Diabetes Educators – a real added value to the service we are delivering to our patients that is nearly rare all over Egypt.
C. Awareness, Prevention, patient education and health care professional education is a priority for EIDC and we have the will, the knowhow and the facilities needed to accomplish those medical services.
D. Clinicruise is EIDC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system :-1. An electronic medical record (EMR) is a digital
version of a paper chart that contains all of a patient’s medical history, examination, investigations, diagnosis and treatment.
2. Our EMR is more beneficial than paper records because it allows us to:• Track data over time.• Identify patients who are due for preventive visits
and screenings.•Monitor how patients measure up to certain
parameters, such as vaccinations and blood pressure readings.• Improve overall quality of care in practice.

Why Are We Different??
E. EIDC Management Protocols are all based on IDF "International Diabetes Federation" Guidelines. They are documented and will be strictly followed by the whole EIDC team.
F. EIDC Quality Manual have been developed beforehand, so we will start with a Quality Assurance System that will monitor and control our practices from the very beginning.
G. Advanced Investigations needed for Diabetes Care are available in the center :
1. HbA1c measurement by a device certified by National Glycohemoglobin Standardization Program (NGSP) in the USA which is the reference approved by IDF.
2. Digital Retinal Photography Camera; will be available next July to help in practical and cost effective recommended follow up for detection of early signs of retinopathy to guard against deterioration.
3. Doppler device for peripheral vascular study.
