when Akhenaten died.✕ He was quickly manipulated
by the old priests and advisor who wanted to return Egypt to its former beliefs
✕ So he changed his name back to Tutankhamun symbolizing the return to old beliefs
✕ He was assassinated soon after.

EGPYT: NEW KINGDOM ✕ Invasion by the Sea Peoples brought Egypt’s war against the Hittites to sudden end. Both the Hittites and the Egyptians now have to deal with this new threat
✕ No one knows who the Sea Peoples were or where they really came from.
✕ But they have a direct impact on the fading power of Egypt leaving it vulnerable for others to come in and conquer.
