    1 nsure that the System is switched offand thepower cord removed before installation. Damage tothe System and the EGAWONDERSOO mayresult if the power is left onRemove the 5 cover mounting screws from the rearofthe PC. On the IBMlATyou must unlock thekey ock before you can remove the cover.

    2 Carefully slide the cover forward, until it will go nofurther then tilt the cover away from the systemunit and withdraw it from the system.For IBM Personal System 2 Model 30Remove the 4 cover mounting screws, 2 of them arelocated on each side of the system. Slide the coverbackwards and remove by lifting straight up. Putthe screws in a safe place, you will need them laterfor re-installation.

    The P IXT has only one switch block on its motherboard; which should be easy to find. Compatiblesmay have different switch locations or set-ups inorder to isolate their video interface. Consult yourSystems User Manual for these locations.3 b) For IBM PC/ATWhen installing the EGAWONDERSOO+ in theIBM PC/AT it is necessary to set the video displayswitch (Color/Mono switch) on the AT motherboardto Color and run the IBM Advanced Diagnostics
