DESCRIPTION

EFQM recognition schemes combine simple processes with high-level outcomes and international visibility. This brochure gives you an overview of all different recognition possibilities.

TRANSCRIPT

EFQM recognition schemes motivate your people to drive the organisation toward continuous improvement and a culture of

excellence, whilst creating international acknowledgment for your professionalism and your relentless focus on progress.

3

“We have developed the “Recognition” programme to provide organisations with a series of milestones to recognise where they are on their journey to excellence. This recognition can be used to demonstrate to stakeholders your commitment to continuously improve your organisational capabilities and to develop strategies, policies and processes that will ensure sustainable success into the future.

The EFQM Recognition processes involve an external assessment of your

organisation by a team of accredited Assessors against the EFQM Excellence Model.

This assessment can either be conducted in English by a multi-national team or in

local language by a team from one of our Primary Partners.

Our recognition programmes are all about celebrating achievement and creating

enthusiasm for progress in your organisation. They are a great way to motivate

your employees and encourage systematic improvement. They provide a focus for

learning and training. They provide achievable milestones during a long term

programme and demonstrate achievement to your people, suppliers and customers

I am proud to present our recognition portfolio in the following pages and I look

forward to see your organisation participating in our programme.”

(Page 9)

“Our journey for excellence was really confirmed to our customers, suppliers and employees after our decision to go for EFQM.EFQM model is unique for its clarify and integration. After achieving the C2E level the confidence of successful implementation of TQM increased dramatically within our organization. We really demonstrated our motto (Manufacturing of Trust) to all our stakeholders”.

Dr. Lotfy Lewiz Suffin Executive Director of ELTA, Egypt.

C2E Overview

The EFQMs Committed to Excellence is a recognition programme that

helps you introduce an excellence initiative into your organisation and

deliver improved results. It is an action– based learning project that

takes place over 9 months and entails identifying, prioritising and

implementing improvement projects using the EFQM Excellence Model

and RADAR logic.

Committed to Excellence’ consists of two stages. In the first, we support

you in the conduct of a simple Self-Assessment against the EFQM

Excellence Model, from which you will define your organisational

improvement plans. In the second stage, an independent EFQM

“validator” reviews your approach and provides structured feedback.

Act as an EFQM Validator

Taking part in a validation process is a fulfilling experience. You will

benefit from professional as well as personal development. An EFQM

Validator must gather and analyse data within a tight timescale. He

or she must make fast decisions and present an organisation with

high level feedback after just one day.

What’s in it for you?

Involve and align all staff members to improve your organisation’s performance.

Provide you with an independent validation and internationally recognised certification.

Identify improvement projects & benefit from action oriented feedback

Embark on an improvement journey and start to develop a culture of excellence.

8

Who can apply?

Any organisation or business unit can apply at any time, regardless of their

location, size or sector. Please note however, that this is a one-time start-

up programme.

The Committed to Excellence Programme is a simple & easy step for

organisations or units who are just beginning to explore ways to improve

their business approach. A typical profile of an applicant organisation looks

like follows:

They have experience of introducing improvement initiatives but

change is managed ad-hoc, now interested in taking an

organisation-wide perspective.

They measure their performance using mainly internal measures

with little use of external comparisons as the basis for target

setting.

EFQM Excellence Award

EEA overview

The EFQM Excellence Award is the highest form of recognition an

organisation could receive because it comes from its own peers. Top

executives from leading businesses and public service organisations study

and visit the candidates and after a grueling examination select the few

outstanding achievers.

Exceptional performance in a specific area or subject is rewarded with a

Prize. If a true role model is identified, if an organisation outshines all the

others as the example to learn from and to aspire to, they receive the

ultimate recognition, the Excellence Award.

'The EFQM Excellence Award process is essential to our

continued journey towards excellence. The outputs we

received from the 2010 process were of the highest

quality and deeply incisive. We have taken those

outputs and plugged them straight into our continuous

improvement programme. In addition the caliber of

individuals involved in the assessment was outstanding,

a stellar cast of Europe's finest practitioners of

excellence. In summary for us the process was an

on how EIB can further improve their organisation.
