Job Level Approval

Digital StoreFront 9.6 introduces support for job-level approvals. You can now allow approvers to review the individual jobs that make up orders versus reviewing entire orders as in earlier releases of Digital StoreFront.

If approvers decline some jobs in an order and approve others (so there is a mixture of declined and approved jobs in the order), they can decide to decline the entire order or to remove the declined jobs and let the order be produced with just the approved jobs.

PrintSmith Vision Integration

Enhancements were made to the integration for Digital StoreFront and PrintSmith Vision (requires DSF 9.6 and PSV 3.6)

Self Registered and SSO Users - Users who self-register on a Digital StoreFront site are now automatically created as

contacts in PrintSmith Vision.

- If Active Directory/SSO is configured in Digital StoreFront, a contact is automatically created in PrintSmith Vision the first time a user logs into Digital StoreFront.

User Updates: - Previously only changes in PSV would sync with DSF. In DSF 9.6 any changes made

to user profiles will be updated in PSV.

Fiery Integration Updates

When a stapling option is selected for special pages in a job, the stapling information in the JDF ticket is now communicated to the Fiery directly instead of in the form of comments.

This enables more extensive job order to production integration from DSF to the Fiery DFEs.

Security Enhancements

Digital StoreFront 9.6 introduces several security enhancements including support for

- jQuery v. 3.1.0 throughout the application

- Angular.js throughout the application

- Various framework updates and secure cookies

These enhancements enable us to provide a secure platform that is compliant with the latest standards and protocols.

Support for new Payment Gateways

Pagadito Payment Gateway - Digital StoreFront now includes support for Pagadito, a payment

gateway that is widely used in Latin America.

- Users must first establish an account with Pagadito at http://www.pagadito.com

Support for PayU - Digital StoreFront 9.6 introduces support for the PayU Latin America

payment gateway.

Correios Shipping Support

Support for Correios Shipping - Digital StoreFront 9.6 introduces support for the Correios

shipping cost calculation (for Latin America).

Chinese Yuan Currency Support

iPay88 can be used with Chinese Yuan currency when enabled with an Alipay account.

To use Alipay with iPay88, you must contact the iPay88 team and select a merchant account with the Alipay option enabled.

If you are using Digital StoreFront v.9.0: Obtain a new Digital StoreFront license to enable you to use SmartCanvas:

1. Go to the upgrade order form.

2. In the “Order Upgrade Contact Form,” for the “Licensed Version” select the Digital StoreFront Customer Hosted option.

3. Complete the remainder of the form and then click Submit. Note EFI will contact you within two (2) business days with information on receiving and installing your software. After downloading the exe file to a temporary folder (e.g., C:\Temp) double-click the setup.exe file to run the installer.

Install v.9.6 following the steps in the “Upgrading to Version 9.6 from Version 9.x” section of the release notes document.
