How We OperateThe communities that have joined Efficiency Smart are funding the program in order to achieve a target amount of electrical energy savings over three years.

Each community has a specific target for savings that is based on the characteristics of the community.

The savings from energy efficiency is cost-effective and cheaper than new power supply costs.

Efficiency Smart tracks and reports savings achieved in every participating community and the savings are verified annually by an independent third-party evaluator.
