What is Nuclear Radiation?

Nuclear Radiation means particle beam such as alpha ray, beta ray, gamma ray, and neutron ray.These nuclear radiation can’t be seen from naked eyes.We use some particular equipment to measure nuclear radiation.

What is Nuclear Radiation?

As shown in previous slide, there different types of nuclear radiation. Alpha ray can’t through even a piece of paper. Beta ray can through a piece of paper, but it can’t through an aluminum plate.

What is Nuclear Radiation?

Gamma ray are hard, it can through less than 50cm cement.Neutron ray are most hard radiation, it can’t through only hydrogenic atom.

Today, we use nuclear radiation in many way.Nuclear radiation have not only negative effects such as atomic weapon, but also positive effects.
