Our Former Method

Our Previous Method of Room Inspection:– One person in the hallway with good hearing and

the ability to write very fast– Four to six people inspecting rooms and yelling

out problems

Our Former Method

• When the inspection was complete, the list of problems was photocopied and given to the Building Supervisor and a copy to maintenance

• This document could be anywhere from one and half hours after the start of the inspection to a day later

Our Goal

• Get the work orders to maintenance and housekeeping faster

• As soon as a floor is completed, the office can assign work orders and get them to the technician – Allows the technician to start anywhere from an

hour earlier to a day earlier from the previous method
