5. Have take-aways that reinforce the idea and aren’t in a PowerPoint format. Ex: tip sheets as a class supplement

6. Use at least 18-24 size font and a Sans Serif font.

7. Use consistency in color schemes, punctuation, graphics, and nomenclature.

8. Avoid vague quantitative words, such as “very”, that leave the meaning up to the audience.

9. If a concept can be said with a picture, it will be better conveyed. However, don’t use graphics to decorate a few numbers.
