What is a Habitat Build Day?
As an EFC member, you and your team have the unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of hard-working families and the communities in which you live or work. Just like future Habitat homeowners do prior to purchasing their Habitat home, your team members will come together on a Habitat build site, roll up their sleeves and work together to help build a safe, decent, and affordable place that a family in need will one day call home.

How to join EFC’s Habitat Build Day
EFC has put one Habitat Build Day on hold in the Atlantic Canada. The exact date and location will be determined based on preference of participants in conjunction with build site availability. Any employee of an EFC member organization may request to join a build day in their region. A $10,000 cash donation is required for a build day of up to 15 people, which will be proportionately split by the participating EFC members. The donation associated with this Habitat Build Day will go directly toward local Habitat homebuilding efforts.
