3EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDD’;K,
Hello everyone,
Can you believe that
you all have only have
1 week left until the
summer holidays?
Hasn’t time flown by.
I imagine that you
have all been very
busy and just in case
you have time to
spare, here are some
activity ideas for
you, your family and
friends.
Activities 10 Green frittata muffins
• 2 tsp olive oil, plus extra for greasing.
• 1 garlic clove, crushed.
• ½ large courgette, grated & squeezed.
• A handful baby spinach, chopped.
• 30g frozen peas
• 4 large eggs, beaten.
• 40g Cheddar cheese, grated.
Preheat the oven to gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C.
Grease 6 holes of a muffin tin and put a disc
of baking paper in the bottom of each. Heat
the olive oil in a small frying pan over a
medium heat. Add the garlic, courgette and
spinach. Cook for 4-5 mins, stirring
frequently to stop the veggies catching on
the bottom of the pan. Remove from the
heat and stir through the frozen peas. In a
large bowl, gently stir the cooked vegetables
and cheese into the beaten egg. Divide the
mixture evenly between the prepared muffin
holes. Bake for 18-20 mins, until the
frittatas are set and golden. Remove from
the oven and leave to cool slightly, before
releasing from the tin. Store in a plastic
container.

This week’s art activity isn’t linked to a specific artist. It’s a pretty art idea for
everyone and can be completed using so many different colours and designs. Please
print off the tree template below (or draw your own), get your fingers and paint
ready and get creative!
ELETELEPHONY BY LAURA ELIZABETH
RICHARDS
Once there was an elephant,
Who tried to use the telephant—
No! No! I mean an elephone
Who tried to use the telephone—
(Dear me! I am not certain quite
That even now I’ve got it right.)
Howe’er it was, he got his trunk
Entangled in the telephunk;
The more he tried to get it free,
The louder buzzed the telephee—
(I fear I’d better drop the song
Of elephop and telephong!)
Nonsense poem Do you think that you could
make your own nonsense poem?
Some poems rhyme but some do
not.
It can be about anything you
like!
Will you illustrate your poem?
Or maybe you can illustrate this
poem.
See if you can find a funny
poem to share with your family.
Please be careful leaving your child on Youtube, where possible I have also included a link to Youtube
for kids, which takes a few minutes to set up and is much safer for them to watch stories etc… on if
they are younger.
Every Wednesday and on some occasional Mondays a new bible story is read out by the ‘Episcopalian
tucked in’ page on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/episcopaltuckedin
If your child has some excess energy to release, they may enjoy shaking their sillies out!

Audible have said that whilst schools are closed, they will allow access to many children’s stories for
free. That is from little ones to teens +. https://stories.audible.com/start-listen
I have found a ‘read along with me’ channel on Youtube that has adults such a Michelle Obama reading
stories for children (She reads a new story every Monday). There are other stories read by other
people uploaded on different days.
