• Your proposal should not simply identify the way forward: it should pave the way for a revolution towards Nearly Zero Energy Buildings

e.g. 200 home-owners and 50 companies start a step-by-step renovation process following the recommendations of the EPCs and with the support of key actors

e.g. 50 local authorities commit to double the renovation rate of their buildings towards NZEB standard, and already launch several refurbishments during the duration of the project.

Building Workforce Training and Qualification Initiative

• BUILD UP Skills• Continuing education: skills and training on energy

efficiency and renewables in buildings for craftsmen, and other on-site workers

• Pillar 1 (09/02/2012): National qualification platforms and roadmaps: analysis of skill needs and gaps and development of a roadmap up to 2020

• Country specific – One proposal funded per country• Only open for the following countries: CZ, FR, FL, GR,

HR, IS, LU, LT, MK, MT, SK.

• Pillar 2 (30/04/2013): Qualification schemes. Support to set-up or upgrade of large-scale training schemes. Proposals to be based on established national roadmaps This is a separate initiative !!
