You Shall Above all things be Glad and Young by: E.E Cummings

For if you’re young, whatever life you wear

It will become you; and if you are gladwhatever’s living will yourself becomeGirlboys may nothing more than boygirls need: I can entirely her only love

Whose any mystery makes every man’sflesh put space on; and his mind take off time

That you should ever think, may god forbidand (in his mercy) your true lover spare: for that way knowledge lies, the foetal gravecalled progress, and negation’s dead undoom.

I’d rather learn from one bird how to singthan teach ten thousand stars how not to dance

~Writers BlockBy Jeanne Zheng

When I get a writer’s blockIt’s like having the wordsAt the tip of your tongue That you can never figure out.I hate,

When I get a writer’s blockThe words just don’t come to mind And the vision is always unclearIt’s when a story has no endingThe story lost forever.Writer’s block

Is no pain but frustrationThe more you think, the worse it getsNow what should I do?I’m pressuring my brain too muchOh I give up, it’s no use.I just hate

When I get a writer’s block!

Where are you?By: Amy Chen

When I wake up, you wont be thereNor to say good morning

When I go to sleep you wont be next to me to say good night

Where are you?

When I feel sadYou wont be there to lend me a shoulder to cry

When I boredYou wont be there to make me fly

Where are you?

When I love you You wont be by my side

Where are you?

Life is ShortBy: Ridhwanul Rabbe

The whole world spinning around me I just can't seem to breathWhat's all the fuss about Accomplishing your dreams Why don't they understand that life is shortSo enjoy your time for time is shortThe things to do the places to seeThe life that I've never lived will be A cemetery on my dead colony Who cares to find yourself with such things to doA life that I wish I drewSo enjoy your time for time is short Because today I sit abort From the world I thought I once knew

Betrayed me and left me threwTired and dead as I knewThat this day was once to come

But I thought a very little someThere is time to spare for meCan't you see what I am too be The world was spinning fast around meSo I sat and waited Wasted time obligatedTo finding myself as you can seeBut I found lost coming to thee So enjoy your time for time is shortBecause once this time passes awayThere will never ever be a dayFor you to live and enjoyJust remember that life isn’t a toy A hopeless one to find meBut I really just want to be freeFrom this dream that I liveThe grave I want to give Some light to shine it throughLive this life being you
