Projects

NASA - Sample Return Robot Challenge (WVU-2014, the only team in the US that completed stage 1)

A 25 member project to build a fully automated sample return robot, with the ability to search, collect, return the sample to a designated location, and avoid collision.

- Designed through hand sketching and CADing through SolidWorks. (Mechanical Team)

- Assembled parts ordered for the robot, construct the homing beacon the station platform, and machine parts for the robot arm and grabber.

New Vision – Solar Project (WVU - 2014)

The goal is to create an apparatus that can anchor, mount, and position a solar panel to track the path of the sun during the day in order to receive the maximum amount of energy from the sun.

- Designed through hand sketching and CADing through SolidWorks.

- Constructed the prototype and fulfilled the task of designing a sun tracking mechanism.

- Analyzed and managed data collected.

Footwear & Recreation Technology Research Institute

- Initiated the Rhythmic Motion Exercise Machine Project, designed structure through hand sketching.
