Educatuin in the CR has these stages:

• Pre-school • Primary• Secondary• Tertiary

Students are evaluated by:

• Marks from 1 (the best) to 5 (the worst)

Children play with other children, they learn to socialise

• Grammar schools: general and rather academic education, prepares for university

• Special schools: business academies, nursing schools,…

• Vocational training: for practical jobs

School Leaving Examination

• 4 subjects (Czech, a foreign language and two optional subjects)

• Written and oral part• School Leaving Certificate• Many changes starting 2010

Tertiary Education• Entrance examination• 3-5 years of study• Free of charge

Degrees:• Bachelor´s Degree (Bc.)• Master´s Degree (Mgr., Ing.)• Doctoral Degree (Ph.D)
