What I TeachMy name is Laura Sinisgallo. I teach 6th grade special

education in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Over the course of four years, I have taught in-class support special education classes in all the main content areas. Currently, I am teaching in-class support Social Studies, English and Math. I also teach a resource room Social Studies class and resource room study skills class called Academic Support. For the past two years, I have been working on my school’s I&RS committee as the 6th grade teacher representative.

My Education I graduated from Caldwell College, located in

Caldwell, New Jersey in December 2009 with the distinction of Summa Cum Laude. I earned a B.A. in English and teaching certifications in Elementary Education, Middle School Language Arts and Special Education. I recently earned my high school English certification.

Outside of WorkI spend most evenings tutoring several students at the

middle/high school level.I recently joined a gym and have taken up Body Combat

classes. I love to travel. This past summer I took a tour of National

Parks out West. This summer I am traveling to London and Paris.

My favorite TV shows are Castle and Bones.I love to read and write short stories.

My favorite books are the Harry Potter, Twilight and Hunger Games series.

I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and boyfriend.
