Airflow Management

Snap-in blanking panel solution thatprovides a 99%+ effective seal. Reduce hot spots and bypass airflow bypreventing exhaust air migrating to thefront of the cabinet. Unique features that aid fitting andeliminate gaps between adjoining panelsor equipment. HotLok4 Round designed to seal cableentry points in rack cutouts.

Supplied in boxes of 10 x 27U sheets thatare scored at 1U intervals. No more guessing how many blankingpanels are required. Quickly blank off large areas of unusedrack space. Fire rated material (ULVO class 94) thatcan be easily cut to blank areas of lessthan 1U. Available in dark grey or white.

The AisleLok under rack panel has beendesigned to block bypass airflow fromunder server racks. AisleLok has a PVC support frame for areliable attachment to the rack, with anEVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) solid foampanel. The EVA panel prevents sagging whichis common in comparable products withbrush type fills.

Standard flat bottom floor grilles have amajor design flaw that creates jet stream,short cycling and negative airflow.

Triad is different, the grille has a speciallydesigned fin that causes the air to bendoutwardly creating a unique dispersionpattern. The fin also creates better stratificationproviding cooling for top-of-rack servers.

SwitchAir 2U is specifically designed toprovide effective cooling for top of racknetwork switches. Some network switches exhaust hot airout to the front or side of the rack, thiscan lead to mixing air streams.

SwitchAir 2U channels cool air to thenetwork switch and prevents mixing. Allows switches with varying airflowpatterns to be stacked together.

Opengate Containment Coolingsystemprovides an exciting alternative to watercooled or aisle containment systems. System works by containing hot serverexhaust air at the back of the server rackand returning it to the CRAC via plenumduct in an optimally balanced fashion. Achieved by an intelligent fan controllerthat monitors the pressure at the rear,and adjusts the fan speed accordingly.

ColdLogikPerfect climate Perfect control

ColdLogik replaces the traditionalapproach to data centre cooling, allowingloads of up to 45kW per rack. Water cooled solution that allows coolingwater temperatures to rise from 6C tobetween 14C and 21C reducing costs. The only water cooled solution withpatent pending Leak Prevention System. Retro-fit capability to any alreadyinstalled OEM rack.

UCoustic is a range of 19 SoundproofCabinets that have exceptional noiseattenuation and thermal dissipation. Three models available including a wallbox version. Available in 12U, 24U or 42U heights. Active or Passive versions. Active are ableto deal with higher heat loads. Active Rear Doors have variable speedcontrolled fans and temperature sensor.

Aisle containment prevents mixing of coldair and hot exhaust air. Retrofits to existing cabinets no matterwhat their height, width or manufacturer. Roof panel options for gas or water firesystems, panels drop away at 58Callowing sprinklers access to aisle.

Roof panels also have a high lighttransmission. Suitable for Hot or Cold aisle containment.

Fire stop barrier that assures fireprotection with every new or retrofitcable installation. Built-in firestopping system automaticallyadjusts to the number of cables installed. Superior fire, sound and smoke leakagecompared to standard sleeve and putty

systems. Three models available. Certified four hour fire rating.

Protective matting that protects cablesfrom sharp edges, rough surfaces andchemical & water penetration. Wide range of roll lenghts and widths. Pre-cut material available for use as aprotective lining in basket tray systems. Closed cell structure provides a highresistance to moisture & waterpenetration, giving long term stability. Environmentally friendly product.

Designed to perfectly route, isolate andprotect fibre optic network cables. Made from PC/ABS. LSOH, ROHS, UV and heat-resistant. Flame retardant (UL94/V0), and resistantagainst electrical shock. The bright yellow colour ensures that theducting is highly visible. Reduces risk of macro-bending andmicro-bending of the fibre optic cables.

Electronics & Monitoring

Austin Hughes KVM Console Drawersprovide local rack access to servers. Can either be attached directly to serversor existing KVM switches. Alternatively can have an Austin HughesKVM switch integrated within the unit. Wide range of models available withvarious sized LCD screens. Support for a range of platforms includingPC and Sun.

EDP Europe offer KVM Switches fromAustin Hughes and Raritan. KVM Switches enable easy managementof multiple servers from a single monitor,keyboard and mouse. Models range from basic analogueKVM Switches through to IP-enabledenterprise solutions. KVM Extenders and AV solutions are alsoavailable.

EDP Europe offers a complete range of intelligent power distribution units (PDUs). As wellas our own iPower PDUs, EDP offers products from other leading manufacturers such asAustin Hughes, PDU eXpert and Raritan. Intelligent PDUs enable power monitoring, and in some cases remote power switching. Remote access can be either over IP, serial or with some products over telephone usingDTMF technology. Many intelligent PDUs also offer basic environmental monitoring by measuringtemperature and humidity. Accessing intelligent PDUs over IP is achieved via standard web browsing software. Some intelligent PDUs have optional software for greater management capabilities.

Media Storage Solutions

Gemtrac is a high density enclosed mediastorage solution. Gemtrac consists of two large cabinetswith vertical drawers that slide out on aninterconnecting overhead track. Overhead track keeps aisle free as thereis no track on the floor.

Quick access to thousands of stored tapesfrom one position. Two cabinet heights with 5 drawer widths.

EDP Extreme racking for high density,open storage of 3590 style media tapes. Multimedia Extreme for high densitystorage of 4mm, 8mm, DLT, LTO, CD,Optical Disk & 3570 Magstar. Both solutions have base units as singlesided racks for attaching to a wall or asdouble sided racks for creating aisles. Extra capacity via the addition of sliderunits.

ProMedia cabinets provide secure,enclosed, storage for many types ofmedia tapes. Media is stored securely in drawers bySlide-N-Lock dividers, or wire trays. Available in 3 heights, and 2 widths, with5 data and 2 file drawer heights.

Optional capacity on 1,219mm (48) wideProMedia cabinets via Overfile unit. Overfile stores media in vertical drawers.

EDP provide open rack media storagesolutions that include: Maximiser, QuadRac and Multimedia Racks. Maximiser & Quad Rac provide storage for3590 style tapes, DLT or LTO. Quad Rac has increased capacity due tothe addition of four one pac wide sliders. Multimedia Racks offer a wider range ofmedia types, in pacs compatible withMultimedia Extreme.

Slimcase is a multi-purpose, anduniversal system, that can be used in anyoffice or backroom application. Slimcase can accommodate either top orside tab file folders, small media such ascomputer tapes, and all types of audio/visual tapes as well as binder storage. Configurations can have pull out drawers,shelves or a mixture of both. Narrow footprint saves space.

Label quality is critical to datamanagement, EDP Tri-Opticmedialabels are recognised by market leadingtape manufacturers as their approvedlabel of choice. Quality and consistency are our primaryobjectives, with consistent colours for

easy identification and Grade A barcodesthat have a 99% first time read rate. Available for a wide range of media types.

Turtle cases provide secure storage formedia while it is being transported, andprotects tapes from mechanical impacts,temperature and / or humidity extremes,debris from foreign contaminants,airbourne debris and electrostaticdischarge.

Lockable for added security. Models available for DLT, SDLT, LTO,4mm, 8mm and more.

Micrographic media cabinets from RussBassett, are specifically designed tohouse roll film or fiche. Three styles available in three heightversions.

The Russ Bassett GoCart is a doublesided mobile storage unit, with heightadjustable sheves. Non-skid top surface with retaining wall.

EDP supplies the full range of FlatscreenArms monitor support brackets. Range now includes support stands forAppleiPad. Monitor arms are not only practical butstylish too, made from tarnish-resistantsolid aluminium. Smooth joints allow monitors to bemoved into endless positions with ease. Can be wall, post or desk mounted.

Document ManagementSolutions

Radio Frequency ID technology improvesrecord traceability and speeds tracking. Records are fitted with either a separateRFID tag or the tag is incorporated intothe strip label using MasterLabel. DeskMate readers are connected to theMasterTrak Plus system and as files come

in range they are checked in or out. Portable RFID units are also available,which speeds audits.

Watchdogeis a data polling softwarepackage that enables easy transfer ofdata between a host system and ATM/ Colorflex on-demand label printingsoftware. Watchdogeis configured to find data inspecified directories. Once located it transforms the data basedon pre-set rules, and then processes it forprinting.

EDPs ATM / Colorflex division offerson-demand label printing softwarepackages for the production of colourcoded barcode strip labels. Strip labels are quick to apply and makemisfiles easier to spot.

Easier than traditional file identificationmethods as one label contains all theinformation. Web based & desktop versions available.

MasterTrak Plus is a Records Management& Document Imaging Software systemwhich uses Barcodes or Radio FrequencyID (RFID) tags to track the movement offiles or assets. Quickly track record movements as theyare checked in or out, and identify who

had a file last. When used with RFID technology trackingbecomes even easier.
