The Pride Parade – Dive into PrideJune 4 at 11 amMembers and friends of the United Church of Canada are invited to join members of Affirming congregations and ministries by walking in the Pride Parade. Walking in the Parade is an expression of social justice, shows support for LGBT people in Edmonton and puts a very kind face on the United Church. We need to meet between 10:00 and 10:30 am at Whyte Avenue and 108 Street. The theme for Pride 2016 is Dive into Pride. You are welcome to make and bring signs that show that theme or that express support for LGBT people. People can sign in online @ https://inkdit.com/ofr/xf121d09c7d600ee9 I am planning on bringing an iPad with me to McDougall, so I can sign people up in church.
