EDITING AN IMAGE IN PHOTOSHOP

Here I have removed some of the small blemishes (such as spots) as these would not usually be here. I also went into image and changed the brightness as I feel the original image was slightly dull. I think this makes the image look more eye-catching. I also used the blemish tool to neaten some of the stray hairs. This gives the image a more professional finish.

Here, I have increased the contrast of the image. This makes the colours look more vibrant and I wanted to make sure that the front cover of my magazine was bright and eye-catching so I think this helps to achieve this. It also makes the red in the jumper stand out more, so that it would be easily visible on a shelf.

I used Photoshop to edit the colour of the eyes. I changed them from the colour brown to a subtle green so that it would tie in well with the green leaves in the background. I also put a slight green colour filter on the image which I think helped to enhance it.
