This movie will be shown at 6:30 PM on
the evening of Monday, July 20, as part of
the Edgerton Homecoming fes#vi#es!
Special guests will be Jason Campbell,
owner of JCFilms, and the writer/
producer of the film, as well as Holly
Spears, country music recording ar#st.
Holly was in the movie and also wrote &
arranged most of the music in the movie!
Spread the word! And join us on July 20!
In Children’s Church, we have spent the
last few weeks studying the book The Lion,
the Witch & the Wardrobe, by C.S. Lewis.
We are nearing the end of that book, and
preparing to begin studying Prince Caspi-
an, and will be holding a ‘Corona#on Par-
ty’ during Children’s Church on Sunday,
June 21. We’d like to invite you all downstairs following church
to see our Narnia classroom, as well as the corona#on room
(which will be the round table room).

I’m sure by now you’re aware of the up-
coming Edgerton Homecoming celebra-
#on– celebra#ng 150th birthday of our
town! What you may not know is that
they have a website specifically dedicat-
ed to this (and other) upcoming event in
our community. The website - edgerton-
homecoming.com is full of informa#on
regarding the planned events. Here are
just a few of the events planned for the
celebra#on, which takes place July 23–
July 26: Vintage Baseball, Chalk Fest,
Waterball, a Wednesday evening wor-
ship service/concert, the parade & fire-
works!
But with all these events, a lot of plan-
ning, and a lot of volunteers are needed.
They are s#ll in need of many volunteers
to make these events great! If you can
help and are willing, contact Marcia
Kitchen. Even if you don’t know what
you could do to help, they can help find
the perfect place for you! They also are
in need of golf carts to help shu>le peo-
ple who have mobility issues, so if you
have a golf cart to volunteer, that would
also be greatly appreciated. The person
to contact is Marcia Kitchen, and her
phone number is 419-298-3252.
Methodist Men will be holding a
meeng on Sunday, June 14, 2015
at 8:00 AM at Edgerton UMC.
They have many items to discuss at this
mee#ng: Upcoming Port-A-Pit Chicken
Sales, Membership, Road clean up, and
other possible fundraisers. They are
hoping for a large turnout of men from
both churches!

HELP NEEDED!!HELP NEEDED!!HELP NEEDED!!HELP NEEDED!!
I know Pastor calls it the "Karlyn Ini#a#ve", but
I am going to be gone several weeks this sum-
mer and will need people to open the church
for prayer on Mondays (11:00 am-1:00 pm) and
Thursdays (6-7:00 pm). All that is required is to
be there to pray and to pray with/or for anyone
who comes in with a request. I admit, I usually
sit alone--but alone #me is good too. Listening
for the Lord's answer is a nice ac#vity or catch-
ing up on some Bible study.
There are several dates I need help, but the
first date I need someone to cover is during An-
nual Conference, on Monday, June 8 & Thurs-
day, June 11. If you are interested, call me (419-
298-2441) or see me at church
Thanks,
Karlyn

Morris & Lorna Warner, holding their newest
Great Granddaughter, Savannah.
It’s geIng that #me of year, again! Time for
the Fes#val Parade (this year the Home-
coming Parade, in honor of the 150th birth-
day of Edgerton!) The parade will take place
on the morning of Saturday, July 25. We
have Frisbees adver#sing VBS, but we need
people willing to work to walk along the
float and hand them out. As that is the day
that Ka#e leaves for Mexico, Ma> & I will
not be able to be there. We need someone
to step in and take our place. We also are in
need of a trailer or wagon, and someone
willing to pull it. If anyone can help with
these needs, please let Stephanie or Sandy
Wood know. Thank you!
It’s a Girl!!!!
