Edge Hill University’s Faculty of Education is one ofthe largest providers of teacher education and trainingfor the schools workforce. The Faculty has strong linkswith schools to facilitate placements which play a keypart in each student’s preparations for their chosencareers. Excellent facilities include classroomsequipped with the latest technology, specialistlaboratories, workshops and studios for Science, PE,Art and Design students, along with ICT suites and a300 seat lecture theatre

What to do…

On hearing the fire alarm

• The alarm sounds continually• Follow the green and white Fire Exit signs to leave the building by the nearest available exit.

The Assembly Area for this building is the piazza area across the bridge

Please note:• All rooms contain a fire action notice• Signs for ‘Fire Exit’ can be recognised by white letters on a green background• Visitors are asked to ensure that their parked vehicles do not cause an obstruction should any emergency vehicles need access onto campus.

In case of personal injury/illness

• Go to the Helpdesk to request first aid assistance• Helpdesk staff will arrange for an ambulance to be called where necessary.• Report any injury to a member of staff on the help desk.

If property is lost/mislaidReport details to staff on the Helpdesk located in the foyer of this building. Should you have any otherproblems, please report to staff at the Helpdesk in the main foyer.
