ECU VTEC ConversionIf you have an OBD-I P05 or P06 ECU, you can convert the ECU to be essentially a P28, thus giving your ECU the ability to
use VTEC.
This is useful when swapping a VTEC engine into your non-VTEC car and you don't want to buy a new ECU.
If you are not good at soldering, I do not recommend doing this. Soldering on an ECU is more intricate than soldering wires
together or soldering on a simple circuit board. If you do it yourself, you will need a good soldering iron, preferably one with
temperature adjustment. Also recommended is a solder sucker.
If you do not want to do it yourself, contact Phearable.net or another tuning company to arrange them to do it for you.

Good info, but like I said, I'm not sure it fits into the FAQ since the FAQ seems to be more general ECU question-oriented. Still, I'm sure
people will be able to use this info.
If another mod/admin feels it should be in the FAQ, feel free to merge the threads.

No I think this is where it belongs. I swore this had been posted and sticky a while back but I guess not.
