ECU Buddy Program
What is the Buddy Program?
As a new student at ECU, it can be difficult to adapt to the university environment. It can be even more of a challenge when you have come from another country and are learning to adapt to Australia, too!
Register to be part of ECU’s buddy program and you can request guidance and support from an experienced student (an “ECU Buddy”) who has been at ECU for one or more semesters.
How to find an ECU Buddy
1. Register and login to CareerHub viaecu.edu.au/careers
2. Once on CareerHub, scroll down to the ‘Forms’section and click on the ‘Join ECU’sBuddyHub to seek help from an ECUBuddy’ form.
3. Complete the form and click ‘Submit’.4. Once approved, you will gain access to
BuddyHub.5. To access BuddyHub, login to CareerHub, click
on ‘My Groups’ from the top menu and select‘BuddyHub’. This will open the BuddyHubhome page, which displays a list of ECUBuddies who have volunteered to helpstudents like you adapt to Australia.
6. Choose a Buddy and then communicate withthem via your ECU student email.
