Eco Horticultura & Garden Center Grup started its activity in 1998 by producing and selling dendro material;it then owned a 20.000 sq. m nursery surface in Bucharest, in the Militari area.

Taking advantage of its own production as well as of the work of a professional team of architects, designersand engineers, Eco Horticultura & Garden Center Grup has successfully approached landscape architecture,soon becoming a leader in this field on the Romanian market.

Through the efficient exploitation of these opportunities, the company has continued on this ascending trendaiming simultaneously at the consolidation of the already existing activities and at the tackling of further areas:sports terrain turfing, installations of irrigation, artesian wells, urban furniture assembling, illumination systems,urban playing grounds and urban fitness devices assembling, tree gardening services, utilitarian climbing andinfrastructure works (asphalting, canalization, support walls).

Thus, the newly adopted fields of activity have allowed our company to provide in a relatively short period oftime a full range of services in the area of landscape architecture. Consequently, the “E-G” group of companieshas now come to own its own nursery totaling 500.000 sq. m (from which 20.000 sq. m are greenhouses),100.000 sq. m of greensward rolls, 4 show-rooms and over 600 employees. The Eco Horticultura & GardenCenter Grup portfolio comprises: 200 set up parks (in Bucharest and, but also all over the country), about1.500 gardens, the arrangement of over 150 urban playing grounds and about 4.500 pieces of urbanfurniture.

The implementation of a rigorous quality management system has been a major preoccupation for EcoHorticultura & Garden Center Grup.

It hence obtained the certifications of ISO 9001, 14001, 16001, OHSAS, RS 2000 standards.
