Admiral Call Centre Fieldtrip 3rd June - Registration & Orientation, 2pm - 3pm, Llanedeyrn Powerhouse, CF23 9PN 10th June, pickup location TBA, 10am-1pm Take a trip to one of the biggest call centre employers in South Wales. Learn how the call centre works,
what Admiral recruiters are looking for and potential opportunities for mock interviews. There will also
be opportunities for customer service and call centre training in July.
CSCS Training and Test 10th, 11th, & 17th June, 9:30am – 4:00 pm @Llanedeyrn Powerhouse CF23 9PN
Want to work in construction? These session will equip you the basics – Level 1 Health and Safety and
CSCS test.
Employment Support Drop Ins

The Llanedeyrn Powerhouse, CF23 9PN – Thursdays 2pm - 4pm
Our employment officer, Joe Cicero ([email protected], 07969 185286), can talk to anyone about
support to achieve their employment goals. He can provide 1-1 support to apply for jobs, access training
and (maybe) help defray the cost of getting work. He can also let people know about various
employment support programmes and make sure they get into the ones they qualify for. People can call
Joe to make an appointment outside of the drop ins.

Free Street Football Every Wednesday, 5pm - 6pm @ Trowbridge Community Centre, CF3 1RX Come along to these free street football sessions and get coached by professional coaches from Cardiff City Football Club. Free Street Dance Every Friday, 5pm - 6pm (starting 6th June) @ Trowbridge Community Centre, CF3 1RX Learn the latest street dance moves and be part of a great local street dance group that meet every week to put together awesome routines! Fit Mix Every Monday, 11am-12pm @ The Powerhouse Llanedeyrn. Come along get fit and have fun at our Fit Mix class! Combining elements of Zumba, Aerobics, Circuits and Legs, bums and tums! No experience required and no complicated moves.

5 Ways to Wellbeing course 17th June – 15th July, 10:30am - 12noon @ John Reynolds Centre, This is a Free five week course, giving you the chance to identify and reduce stress and anxiety, as well as teach you skills to deal with it, in a friendly and supportive session; tea and biscuits provided. Sun Safety van 30th May 12:30-4pm @ Pentwyn Leisure Centre Here comes the sun Campaign with Tenovus. ECLP swap the ice cream for sun cream and dish it out from The Tenovus van offering advice and free sun cream. Smoke Free Homes/Smoking Cessation Brief Interventions and talks available on one to one appointments on requests, group talks available too.

“What’s on for over 50’s?” Llanrumney (Date and Venue TBC) This event will be held in the area to support older people in our local area. Essential Skills Course – English Literacy Class Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, 9.30am - 12.30pm @ Trowbridge Community Centre, CF3 1RX Do you know someone who wants to improve their reading and writing skills and their grammar? This 1 day accredited training will make you an official first aider, which will can help you support local community events and make you more employable!
Level 1 The Importance of Play (Adult Learning)
5 Sessions will start after Half Term specific date and Venue TBC. After the May Half Term will be running a 5 week course which will cover the Importance of Play and will result in
participants gaining a Level 1 certificate. Great for those who want to get into work with children, as well as for interested parents who want to know more about the psychology of children.
