    COURSE: II YEAR B.Tech CLASS : II B.Tech II SEMBRANCH: E.C.E -A ACADEMIC YEAR: 201 -1!

    SUB"ECT: ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT ANALYSIS

Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

You should have completed a course in Electronic Circuits Analysis at 2nd year university level,You should be familiar with electronic device characteristics, be able to use small signal equivalentcircuits and analyse basic electronic circuits using DC and AC circuit analysis techniques.

    Course Description

This course presents the actual concepts of several electronic devices and circuits and thedesign details, in order to meet a given system specification. ystem, signal, circuit andcomponent considerations are incorporated.

The material for this course is presented in ! modules"

    #$%igh frequency transistor amplifier model

    2$&ultistage Amplifier circuits'$ (eedbac) Amplifier Circuits*$ +scillator Circuits$ Tuned Amplifier!$ -ower Amplifiers

    Objectives/ earning Outcomes/Capability Development

+n successful completion of this course, you will be Able to perform the analysis of small signal and high frequency hybrid model

circuits. Able to understand the concept of multistage ampli ers, analysis of multistage

ampli er and its frequency response. Able to study and analyze the performance of negative as well as positive

feedback circuits. Able to design RC and C oscillators and determine the frequency stability for

tuned ampli ers. Able to understand the operation of large signal ampli ers

You will gain or improve capabilities in"

Theoretical )nowledge and software pac)age application s)ills" you will become familiar with theconcept of several useful electronic circuits and professional usage of circuit simulation software. Technical ability" with its emphasis on problem solving and laboratory wor), this course preparesyou to be able to analyse and design circuits in a systematic manner, with an ability to design andimplement electronic circuits. Critical analysis and problem solving" you will develop capabilities in the analysis and interpretationof different circuits. Communication and wor)ing in teams" your capabilities will be improved through the presentationof written laboratory reports, and assignments.
