A Note from Pastor Phillips:

Thank you for coming to worship with us today. If you are a first-time

visitor, I would sure like the opportunity to meet you and welcome you

personally. Because I believe in a Sovereign God, I don’t believe any-

thing happens by chance. I believe you were brought here today for a

purpose. I would love to help you discover that purpose, and to see if

there is any way we as a church can bless and minister to you and your

family. Please stop by the Resource Center after the service so I can

BUSINESS MEETING: The next Business Meeting is scheduled for Sun-day, February 25 at 6:00 p.m. Please mark your calendars and plan to at-tend to be involved and informed!

GOD’S CALL AT RIPKEN: God’s Call is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at Ripken Stadium Friday, August 24. There will be a fireworks display that evening. Tickets are $11.50 each. Please pay Valarie Good-now DIRECTLY to order tickets NO LATER THAN Sunday, March 11. Thank you!

ANNAPOLIS MARCH FOR LIFE: The march takes place Monday, March 19. It begins at 4:30 p.m. with a Youth Rally at St. Mary’s Church on Duke of Gloucester St., followed by a worship service there. The march begins at 6:30 and ends at Lawyer’s Mall with a 7:00 p.m. rally. If you are interested in attending, please sign up at the Welcome Center. If we have enough people sign up, we will take the church van to the event.

HELP WANTED: The Stewart Family is looking for a part time caregiver for Amber for 15-20 hours per week. Ideally a CNA or a Med Tech is preferred, but if you have a general knowledge of caregiving and are interested in helping them, please call Alice at 443-876-4887.

Join us Saturday, March 3 for a marriage conference with Gary Chapman. Tickets cost $44 for a single ticket or $69 for couples, and include lunch (Chick-Fil-A, chips and water). Doors open at 8:00 a.m. and we will conclude by 4:00 p.m. To purchase tickets, complete the following tear-off form and place it (along with your check made payable to PVBC with “Marriage Seminar” in the memo area) in the offering plate. LIMITED CHILDCARE will be available for registered children 12 and under for those in our church family who have no access to a babysitter. The fee is $10 per child (household maximum of $25). Children MUST be registered TO-DAY, and the fee must be paid at the time of registration. Lunch (pizza), beverages & snacks will be provided for the kids.

Our public servants and first responders are facing more dangerous and uncertain times in their occupations these days. While we watch the news and shake our heads at the senseless acts of those who seemingly care only about making headlines, our men and women are out there on the front lines, putting themselves between us and danger.

The Pearl Ministry

THE PEARL MINISTRY – is available to meet the needs of our con-gregation. If you need a listening ear about a problem, a sound-ing board for a personal issue, or are looking for some Biblical wisdom from others who understand difficult circumstances, please utilize THE PEARL MINISTRY. Backert, MA; LCPC, NCC, BCPCC will endeavor to get back with you within 24 hours. This confidential service to the mem-bers of PVBC offers encouragement, support, comfort and pray-er at NO CHARGE to our members. Our current team consists of one male and six females, two of whom are professional li-censed therapists. The ages of our lay caregivers/lay counselors range from the mid 20’s to the 70’s, single and married. “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Gal. 6:2).
