No matter how far we wander from you, O God, your steadfast love finds us.
No matter how unjust the world seems to us, O God,
your steadfast righteousness sustains us.
No matter how vulnerable our lives seem to us, O God,
your steadfast presence gives us hope.
No matter how unloved and uncared for we feel, O God,
you hear our cries and answer our prayers.
Thanks be to God!

“Many Gifts, One Spirit” Allen Pote
(8:30) Soloist, Francis Rudolph
(11:00) Chancel Choir
Many Gifts, one spirit, many songs, one voice.
Many reasons, one promise, many questions, one choice.
O God, we pray for unity, give guidance from above.
In our differences unite us in the circle of your love.
O God, remind us we are not alone.
Though we move on different pathways, We are walking to your throne.
Help us learn to love each other, show us ways to understand. We are members of one family, growing strong by joining hands
Take our many ways of working, blend the colors of each soul into the beauty of a rainbow,
give us life, Lord, make us whole.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

through the love of God that draws us together.
We also know that God’s love

so let us share our love with others

Gracious and generous God,
you abound in faithfulness, mercy and love toward us.
We count it a joy and a sacred gift
to share with others what you have so freely given to us.
Receive, we pray, the offerings of our hearts and lives
that your name may be hallowed,
your gospel proclaimed
and your kingdom come on earth,
as it is in heaven. Amen.

30 years ago when 22 churches in
Columbia, SC raised $5,700.00 in
cans of soup and financial gifts
through their youth groups. The

everyone who gathered to watch the
big game bring a donation of soup or
money to be given to a local food
closet. In 2018, $8,152,000.00 was raised by churches, schools, and
