What is EB-‐5? New business or

Under the EB-‐5 Visa Program the investment through a Regional Center (US$ 500,000) allows that immigrant investors qualify for the EB-‐5 Visa and Green Card without the requirement and challenge of directly managing a business in the USA. This opEon allows investors and their families to reside anywhere in the USA and engage in any lawful acEviEes like study, work, business, etc, or simply reEre.
What is a Regional Center? A Regional Center is a private, public or not-‐for-‐profit enEty which is authorized by the USCIS to develop and offer qualified investment opportuniEes in certain geographic areas and certain industrial / commercial categories, that are in compliance with the EB-‐5 Program
It is a concept created by the USCIS and US legislators aaer a few years of the EB-‐5 Program existence, to allow the pooling of investors and counEng of jobs indirectly generated, through the economic impact of the investments.
Jobs The jobs may be created directly or indirectly (in the case of projects via Regional Centers).
The generaEon of direct, indirect and induced jobs is planned and measured via economic impact studies.
