Though we all care a lot about our bodies and try to eat a healthy diet through out our lives, It is not always possible to avoid bad food or diet that accumulates bad cholesterol in our body, no matter how hard we try, But as far as possible try to stick to a diet that is healthy for your heart. And you will be able to enjoy your life to the fullest without any heart problems. We are aware of the fact that if you keep having food rich in saturated fats, it can accumulate bad cholesterol in your body which can lead to all kinds of heart diseases including heart attacks. The other biggest health hazard of our times is obesity. Because If you are obese, then you have a better chance of getting a heart attack than others, as obesity leads to hypertension, which can trigger a heart attack. So it is very important to control your weight to keep heart diseases at bay. Likewise foods that contain high level of sodium can also raise your blood pressure leading to a heart attack. So if you can follow these tips out here, you can get rid of heart attacks. Eat Plenty of Fish ------------------------ Eat a lot of fish; it's good for your heart. Use Healthy Oils and Fats-----------------------------------Saturated fats are one of the main culprits of causing heart ailments. And the main sources of these fats are meat, butter, and even coconut oil. But you must not stop the intake of saturated fats completely. Recent studies have shown that our body requires a certain amount of saturated fats for carrying various body functions. So you need to limit the intake of meat, butter and coconut oil to minimum until your weight gets normal.

Meanwhile you can substitute them with sea food or nuts for your protein supply.

It is better to use olive oil for cooking purposes instead of an oil rich in saturated fats. Olive oil is a rich source of monounsaturated fats which has the ability to lower the LDL or bad cholesterol level in your blood stream, keeps your blood pressure under control and protects your heart.

Eat fibrous food----------------------Including a lot of fibrous food in your diet can lower the levels of bad cholesterol as well as helps in reducing your body weight. So it is highly recommended to include a lot of whole grain food like whole grain food, whole grain pasta or brown rice and also veggies and fruits that are loaded with fibers in your daily diet. Veggies like asparagus, beetroot, broccoli, cabbage, carrot and cauliflower contain a high amount of fibers in them. And some of the fibrous fruits are apricot, berries, cantaloupe, grapefruit, guava and lemon. Fibrous food delays the absorption of sugar into your blood stream and also helps in keeping the digestive system healthy.

To keep your heart healthy you must refrain from eating a lot of sugar food like candy, cookies, cakes and pastries. There is no need to avoid them altogether.

Healthy Cooking Methods----------------------------------If you want to keep your heart hail and healthy for life; it is very important that you don't eat deep fried food. Instead you can stir fry or sauté them in canola or olive oil or bake them in oven. It's better to bake your chicken and fish. If you want to have chicken remove it's skin and then bake it in the oven with a foil. You can use the same method while the cooking fish too. Try not to deep fry them. And while cooking the vegetables, try to steam them; this will help in preserving their nutrients. And it is healthier to have them with fresh lemon juice squeeze on them instead of butter or cream.

It takes some time to get adjusted to these cooking and eating habits, It might not be easy initially, but once you have achieved them, then there is nothing like it, you will be proud of yourself for keeping your body and heart healthy.
