Your MP can help with problems withthings like

NHS health services like hospitalsand doctors

tax and National Insurance. This is

money you pay to the Governmentwhen you work

for when you are older

They work for your local council. Theymake big decisions about your area.

There are people a bit like MPs who canhelp if you live in Scotland, Wales orNorthern Ireland and have problems

with these things.

If you are not sure who to ask for help

You can ask a group of people in yourarea called the Citizens Advice Bureau what to do.

In Northern Ireland they arecalled MLAs.

In Wales they are called AssemblyMembers .

In Scotland they are called MSPs .
