Ordinance 1245A, the first of three proposals being considered to regulate the sale of medical marijuana, would allow the sale of medicinal marijuana as home occupations in the RA, R1, R2 and R3 zoning districts. However, the sale of marijuana is not permitted within Drug Free Zones, which are located within 1,000 feet of a school or day care center.
