When I started my business 1 1 years ago, the first organization I joined was my local Chamber. It’s the most reputable, long-standing organization that exists in support of small businesses and the community. The Chamber has connected me not only with new clients, but community leaders and decision makers.

I have been a member of the East Bay Chamber since 1988. It is a great networking organization and it gives me the opportunity to meet other new business owners/managers. It also gives me opportunities to learn about the operations of other businesses so the I understand what the services or products are that they offer.

I moved down from Boston to Bristol last summer and have been loving every minute of it on the beautiful East Bay of Rhode Island. The relocation caused me to leave my job at an investment company up north and peruse a career as a small business consultant for a very strong company with an office in RI. It has been a great move for my personal and professional life. I have found the East Bay Chamber of Commerce to be an excellent resource to connect with local business owners, expand my professional network, and become a more active member of this community. I'd strongly recommend membership for any business or professional in the EastBay looking to meet some great people and get their name out there.
